Automotive & General Locksmith Technician

Lock N More is a leading locksmith company seeking a skilled Automotive & General Locksmith Technician to join our growing team.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE
Full-time or Part-time Available

OBJECTIVES
The primary goal of this role is to provide fast, reliable, and professional locksmith services in both automotive and general locksmith work, including residential and commercial service calls.
You will be a field technician responsible for diagnosing issues, completing on-site repairs, and delivering high-quality locksmith solutions with efficiency and professionalism.
In this role, we are looking for someone who is technically skilled, dependable, and customer-focused. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and confident handling a wide range of lock and key systems. If you are hands-on, problem-solving driven, and take pride in quality workmanship, we would like to meet you.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to service calls for automotive, residential, and commercial locksmith needs
• Perform car key cutting, duplication, and key replacement services
• Program transponder keys, key fobs, and smart keys
• Unlock vehicles, homes, and commercial properties without damage when possible
• Install, repair, and rekey locks on residential and commercial properties
• Diagnose and repair ignition issues and vehicle lock systems
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Provide on-site assessments and recommend appropriate security solutions
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and mobile service vehicle inventory


REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as an automotive locksmith or general locksmith technician preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage field service calls efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to troubleshoot automotive lock and ignition systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mobile service environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION
• Knowledge of automotive key programming and locksmith tools (preferred)
• Understanding of residential and commercial lock systems
• Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
• Basic organizational and record-keeping skills
• Preferred but Not Required
• Prior mobile locksmith field experience
• Experience with key programming machines and diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with modern vehicle security systems
• Experience working in emergency service environments

The primary goal of this role is to drive sustainable financial growth by increasing sales, building strong client relationships, and expanding our customer base.

You will serve as a front-line representative of the company, responsible for developing and executing an effective outside sales strategy.

In this role, we are looking for someone with strong organizational and sales skills. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who understands customer needs and can build trust quickly. If you are assertive, goal-driven, and analytical, we would like to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generate new business opportunities within the South Florida territory
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Develop and apply effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals
